Dear Friends, This week has been slower than some weeks, but many clients continue to be in need of prayer.
Because it was a relatively slow week for clients, volunteer Client Advisors made several follow-up phone calls or wrote cards to previous clients. Please pray for some that are having financial difficulties, moral issues, and health issues. We have noted the last few years that many babies are born premature and with low birth weights. This no doubt relates to the lifestyles some of our clients are leading. Please pray for those that are pregnant that the mothers will eat nurtitiously and in some cases, stop drug and alcohol use. A mother comes to our thrift shop frequently that smells of alcohol. She has twin toddlers that are obviously developmentally slow. Please pray for them as well. One of our clients who had a high risk pregnancy stopped by with her tiny premie, still on a monitor, just to say hi and to return some items she no longer needed. We continue to lift her up in prayer as we'd love to see her saved. She is a sweet young gal that needs the Lord in her life. Please join us in praying the Holy Spirit will help her see Truth. Thank you for your prayers for my son who had a heart attack at 40. He has failed a stress test after having stents placed in three vessels. Additional stents or surgery will probably be requried, but the Dr. wants him to rest and not exert himself for the next couple weeks. He is starting some cardio rehab to see how it goes. Also, Dell Lapps, a faithful volunteer for many years, is undergoing more surgery this Wed. to remove any additional cancer cells. Radiation may be necessary. Please pray for the Dr. and nurses that will be caring for her. Dianne Pomon |
