Dear Friends,

Thanks to Eric that responded to our need of a bassinet.  Our client was quite thankful and teary eyed as she picked it up.  Another person plans to deliver a bassinet which we will use for future needs.  If any of you have one you'd like to donate, we are accepting them as well as cribs.

Some prayer needs from this past week...

1.  Anne met with a 31 year old woman in need of diapers until her next payday.  Client claims to be going to heaven because she "has given her soul to God."  She listened to a clear presentation fo the gospel and refused to pray to receive Christ.  Pray for a softened heart.
2.  Dell met with a 20 year old single mother.  She is working two jobs to support herself and her son.  She needed some assistance with clothing.  Client is saved and has made important changes in her lifestyle.  Praise God that she knows she is forgiven through Christ's shed blood on the cross.
3.  Anne met with a client who was ion need of diapers.  She works weekends and cannot attend church.  She believes she is going to heaven because she is a compassionate person.  Anne shared with her the gospel through the Romans Road and the Ten Commandments.  She admitted that she was a sinner, however, she wanted to "think about it more" before she would receive Jesus.
4.  Julia met with a client who has been a regular at the center for years.  She is currently in an abusive relationship.  Her boyfriend will be getting out of prison in a month.  She is in fear for her safety.  We offered many solutions to help her; however, she was not interested in making changes.  Pray for her safety and the safety of her son.  She indicates she is a believer.
5.  Julia met with a teenage mother.  She has a Christian background and is saved, however, she is out of felllowship.  Julia took her to Ps. 51 and talked about forgiveness.  She made the decisioin to rededicate her life to the Lord!  Praise the Lord for this and please pray that she remain steadfast in her decision.

    

Please continue to pray for Dell, our veteran client advisor of 16 years+, as she receives radiation treatments on her arm.  She has about a month to go!
Reminder to mark your calendar for our 25th anniversary banquet and seminar on Thurs., Oct. 15 and Sat., Oct. 17.  The banquet is at 6:30 pm at The Hill School, Pottstown, and the seminar at Berean Bible Church, Pottstown at 10am-2 pm. Eric Barger of Take a Stand! Ministries will be speaking at both events.   Please call us to reserve a seat!
