Dear Friends,
Several things to pray about below....
-
Dell met with a young woman living with her boyfriend and
states she is a Christian. This client came in for a pregnancy
test. She has three more children in someone else's custody out of
state. She has a 4 mo. old that needed formula and is pregnant
again. Dell spent time discussing her lifestyle and need to
marry or separate. They are attending a church in another town
they plan to move to. She was encouraged to meet with the pastor
there.
-
A client in her twenties met with Jane for baby supplies.
She is "hoping to get into heaven." No faith background.
Jane took her to scripture and helped her see her need for Jesus and
discussed what baptism is. She viewed the Good Test and seemed
interested. She will return for baby supplies when the baby is
born in Nov. Pray she will come with questions and desire more
spiritual discussion.
-
Young client we have seen previously
multiple times returned for counsel. She had a benign growth on
her spinal cord (neck) removed several times, but it keeps returning.
She is frequently in pain and struggles to raise her children.
She is a widow - husband had been killed in a car accident before the
birth of her last child. She may have turned to Jesus, we are not
sure, but she is praying. She agrees salvation is through
faith alone and she was encouraged to read the Bible.
-
Seventeen year old client returned for baby layette since her child
was born in late Aug. Dell talked with her about the Lord
and her sinful lifestyle. Client sat chewing gum and was anxious
to leave because boyfriend was waiting for her. Pray this young
gal's heart will be softened to the truth.
-
An older client
met with Anne for baby supplies. She has four children but is
not married and indicated she is a believer. She stated she
wished she could understand the Bible more. She was raised in a
Bible believing church and currently attends one, but seemed confused
how to look up verses. Anne helped her with this and made
arrangements for her to receive bible correspondence lessons.
Please pray for her spiritual growth.
