Dear Ones,
Whew yesterday was a full day. We got up early and washed sheets and towels, and started to pack. We brought all of our clothes from the store room down and put them in the car before and that helped alot. At l0AM the man came to shampoo the rug, and Ruth had all of these boxes to bring down those stairs. The two men from the company and a man from the station helped her, and Dad got there in time to fit every box in the car. Dad said, whow we have all of our belongings in our little Previa. We were both so glad to make this move to the Pedersen's who helped us get the boxes in the house. Ruth unpacked and unpacked. She still has our groceries to sort out and put away. Everyday her knee feels a bit better!!! PTL. We have staff meeting today from l PM to 4PM and then Ruth has a Women's Retreat with Barb Cline at the Larson Center from 9-4PM tomorrow. Joe was alone in the shop yesterday and he came home so exhausted. So keep him covered with your prayers. . We are enjoying the fresh air out here in the country. The maid is here today and doing all the washing for the Pedersen's and going to clean. It is nice to be in a three bedroom home again. God is good. Their little poodle, Bell, is keeping close to Ruth. She was very sad last night when Sam and Karen went to the airport. We came back from the airport and got showers and dropped in bed. Ruth tried to pray, but had to sign off early because she kept falling asleep and couldn't remember who she was praying for!!! We had a phone call at 2:30AM from New Zealand, for the missionary gal who is going to live with us till the end of April, but she still hadn't moved out here. She comes today. Well, we both sat up straight on the edge of the bed, and wondering where the phone was. It was a bit hard to go back to sleep until we could slow down our racing hearts. They moved our king sized bed out here and it is WONDERFUL and we slept so much better. Trust you all will have a great weekend. Lovingly, Continue to uphold Mother in prayer that she will continue to do so well. Joe & Ruth Baxter |
