It's hard to believe that I have been in Australia for three weeks already!  I have unpacked all of our boxes, painted the office, and thoroughly cleaned our house. It is so good to be in my home again.

Jim will be taking the Impact team to Victoria for a week of camp. He will be speaking eight times. Following the Victorian camp, we will have two weeks of Spring Camp here. The first week will be for Awana children; the second week will be for teenagers. There will also be a weekend family camp in the middle of our two camps. We would appreciate your prayer support as we prepare for camps. Please pray for the salvation and edification of young people. Please pray that we will have enough workers in the kitchen and as cabin leaders.

Please pray for us as we look for a car. With the money we raised, we will probably have to get an eight to twelve year old car. Please pray that we will find a car that has a good motor and transmission.

Because Word of Life Australia is unable to hire me at this time, I am looking for a part-time job to help with our finances. Please pray that I can find one nearby. I might take an accounts payable/receivable course at a community college to get a certificate, which might help me to find a better job.

Jeremiah has a new job at a quarry in Penrith. He loves it so far. Please keep praying for his spiritual growth. He had a motorcycle accident about ten days ago. He did not have any broken bones, but he is covered with bruises and scrapes! We're thankful that he didn't have any major injuries.

We would also appreciate your prayers for rain. It is so dry here! Our lagoon is so dry that Jim has been slashing all the weeds. Ninety-three percent of the state of New South Wales has been declared drought. The dam that supplies most of Sydney's water is only 40% full. Unless we get heavy rains, we will be facing a very dangerous fire season.
