Word of Life Poland
With the
breakdown of Communism several years ago the country of Poland is open to
many influences and we are anxious to influence them for the Lord Jesus
Christ. Our commitment is
that if we can impact the young people of this country that it 
will
change the next generation of Poland and we are excited to be involved
with youth all over Poland. Our
Goal is the evangelization and discipleship of Polish youth and we
accomplish this in several forms.
One of the primary things we do is to assist youth groups all over the country. We have developed a youth program to meet the needs of Polish young people and we are seeing many implement the program and ideas into their individual churches. What an encouragement to see young people getting into God’s Word. We call our groups “Word of Life Clubs” and our goal with them is to help them to develop Godly habits in their lives of a Quiet Time Diary, scripture memory, Christian service, etc. If we can steer them through the decisions of their youth years and early adult years we are sure it will have an impact on their entire lives.
Another element of our work is training leaders to run these groups. Every time that we attend a Club meeting, we also spend time with the leaders to give them some practical advice on how to reach their youth. Along with this, we also organize periodic conferences where all the leaders can come together for encouragement and for study in God’s word.
We are involved in Evangelism through special meetings organized with the churches as well as Missions Trips that we organize in the summer. During the day we love to blitz a city through Open Air Evangelism and then in the evening show an evangelistic film in the local park. What a great tool this has been in reaching the lost for the Saviour and it has been wonderful seeing young people coming to know the Lord and growing in Him through discipleship. We appreciate your every prayer for the ongoing work and are trusting God to work in young people’s lives and change the next generation of Poland.
