God Moved First!

Genesis 1:2

This is the first place in all of the Scriptures that the foundational concept of God's "moving" first is mentioned. Were it not for God's initiative, nothing that we know, yes, even we ourselves would not even be here! It was God Who, in eternity past desired a people to love Him and to worship Him. That desire moved Him to act, creating the world for His creatures to live in. The creation could not have brought itself into being. The light could not bring itself forward. The light and the darkness had no capacity to separate themselves. The firmament could not bring itself forth from the waters, not in the sense that Genesis means it. That was the proactive power of God in action! The waters had no power to divide themselves and reveal the dry land. Nor did the grass and herbs and trees carry the innate ability to spring from nothingness. And man, of a certainty, did not have the capacity to form himself from out of the dust of the earth. Woman could not extract herself from Adam's side and create herself from that rib...the very thought is ludicrous!

Yet, that is what many evolutionists would have us believe! that somehow, more complex and more intricate structures developed from simpler and less intricate ones. All of this, they would tell us, with no outside interference or action. this too, in spite of the violation of very basic scientific laws required to believe it! One law says that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. If that is so, where did the energy come from that was necessary to give even basic credence to the idea that miscellaneous enzymes and chemicals combined to produce complex proteins? Another law says that energy is always escaping and winding down, not gearing up. If that is so, how did it happen that we sent from simpler to more complex? Less energy needed to more energy needed? Energy would have had to enter the system, rather than, as the law says, it leaving the system.

The world exists because God interceded and acted with power and energy that was His, and not a part of the system. That is how the light sprang forth. That is how Adam was made from the dust of the ground. No other explanation makes sense.
