God's
existence and perfections are completely separate from and are in no
way dependent upon anything created.
-
Had
there never been a creation, God would have remained self- sufficient,
self-contained, and in need of nothing.
-
Had
He chosen to do so, He might have remained alone within the mysterious
fellowship of His own blessed triunity.
-
Not
only does God exist eternally apart from His creation, but He is
supreme and exclusive as the source of any other created being or
substance apart from Himself.
- There
is no other God.

Eph.
4:4-6 - 4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were

Thess. 1:8-10 - 8For
from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia
and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone
out, so that we do not need to say anything. 9For they themselves
declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you
turned to God from idols to serve the
living and true God,
10and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead,
even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
